  Trustworthy Tour Operator in Uzbekistan We booked a 7-day private tour of Tashkent, Khiva, Bukhara, and Samarkand. The agency arranged guides, transportation, and hotels, all of which were well organized. The hotels were clean and in good locations, and the team was always available via WhatsApp. The train booking process in Uzbekistan is different from what we are used to, so we received our last ticket only shortly before departure. However, everything worked perfectly. Overall, we can highly recommend this agency. They are reliable, trustworthy, and professional.   Ik boekte twee tours bij travel bliss: een uitstap in kleine groep naar Shahrisabz en een tweedaagse homestay tour in de Nuratau bergen. Eerst over de dagtour naar Shahrisabz. Onze gids Mehrojbek sprak zeer goed Engels en wist ons alles duidelijk uit te leggen. Goede tour en deze plek is absoluut de moeite om te bezoeken. Het busje waarin we reden was comfortabel en vertrok netjes op tijd. De tandirlunch als extra stop raad ik absoluut aan! Dan over de tweedaagse tour naar het Nuratau gebergte. Mijn chauffeur Jamshid was een topper! Hij reed veilig en was zeer vriendelijk en attent. Knap dat hij zo lang zo alert kon blijven op de weg, want de afstanden zijn lang. De homestay zelf was een fijne plek! Rustig en van alle comfort voorzien. De eigenaar spreekt Engels en vraagt regelmatig of alles naar wens is. Wat leuk was, was het korte muziekspektakel ‘s avonds bij het eten. Twee verbeterpunten wel voor deze tour: wat uitleg over het lokale leven door de eigenaar van het homestay zou leuk geweest zijn. Verder boekte ik een paardrijtocht, maar qua veiligheid hebben ze hier andere normen. Ik zou het niet aanraden aan onervaren rijders.

  Ci siamo affidati alla Travel Bliss, per un viaggio "tailor made" di due settimane in Uzbekistan; noi (eravamo in quattro) abbiamo dato le indicazioni su cosa volevamo vedere del Paese, con date e orari dei voli (compreso uno interno da Nukus a Tashkent) e loro ci hanno cucito su misura un viaggio fantastico, perfetto in cui tutto ha funzionato alla perfezione. Arrivati a Tashkent siamo andati nella Valle di Fergana, poi in treno a Samarcanda, quindi i 7 laghi in Tagikistan; nel trasferimento per Bukhara abbiamo trascorso una notte nel deserto, dormendo nelle yurte; poi Khiva e da lì verso il mare di Aral, con altra notte in yurta accanto a quel che resta di questo lago, con centinaia di km percorsi in 4x4 nel deserto. Per Fergana, Samarcanda, Bukhara, Khiva e Tashkent ci hanno sempre trovato guide bravissime che parlavano un ottimo italiano; perfetti anche tutti i diversi autisti che ci hanno scarrozzati alla fine per migliaia di km in lungo e in largo. Se stai pensando a un viaggio in Uzbekistan, consiglio assolutamente questa agenzia locale uzbeca (ha sede a Samarcanda), che ti farà risparmiare anche parecchio rispetto a un viaggio acquistato qui in Italia. Aggiungo che per tutte le due settimane c'è stato un continuo feed back e interessamento su come proseguiva il viaggio: tutto oltre le aspettative! I miei referenti sono sempre stati prima e durante il viaggio Yusufjon e Mhrojbek: quest'ultimo incontrato di persona all'aeroporto di Tashkent e anche a Samarcanda.

  Seven Lakes Day Tour to Tajikistan from Samarkand If you are visiting Samarkand and have an extra day to spare, do not hesitate to book this tour with Travel Bliss! Crossing over into Tajikistan to explore the Seven Lakes (Haft Kul) in the Fann Mountains was easily one of the most amazing experiences of our entire trip. Cross-border logistics can feel intimidating, but the team at Travel Bliss made everything effortless. You do need to check beforehand though if you need an eVisa entry to Tajikistan and organise this BEFORE the trip. (It took roughly 10 working days to obtain our visa). Yusuf collected us from our apartment in Samarkand right on time and drove us safely to the border crossing near Panjakent. You walk through the border control and yourselves and meet up with the Tajik driver and Guide on the other side. Our transfer across the border into Tajikistan went remarkably smoothly taking about an hour. Once on the Tajik side, we were met by an exceptional local guides (Bur'bad) and driver (Qur'shed). Driving through the steep, winding narrow mountain passes requires serious skill, and Qur'shed handled the rough terrain with complete ease, making us feel perfectly safe the entire day. Bur'bad spoke fluent English, was deeply knowledgeable about local Tajik culture, the local mountain range and lakes and was very flexible allowing us to spend as much time as we wanted at each photo stop and offered great insights into the local mountain communities. You have to realise these mountain roads are very rough and dangerous and the constant 'Tajik massage' of the journey does exhaust you by the end of the day. BUT .... The Seven Lakes themselves are mind blowing and breathtaking. The lakes vibrant colours of blue, turquoise and green, set against dramatic, rugged peaks is well worth the exhausting journey. From the stunning natural beauty to the warmth of the Tajik people and the impeccable organisation by Travel Bliss, this day trip exceeded all expectations. It was safe, well-paced, and truly an eye-opening adventure. 100% recommended for anyone visiting Uzbekistan!

  Yusufjon at Travel Bliss was amazing in helping us with our travel in Tashkent and Samarkand. He handled the logistics with impressive efficiency and care, arranging our cars and drivers and making sure we were connected with the right people. Communication was easy, including in English, and we always felt that the details were being handled thoughtfully. He also did much more than organize transportation.   I highly recommend Travel Bliss for arranging our Aral Sea adventure. The agent was responded in a very timely manner and answered my questions efficiently. The entire trip went as outlined--the pickup at hotel, the stops along the way, the items seen. As the journey is over rough road and desert (where there are no road), it was important to have an appropriate car and good driver. Our driver was excellent--he was focused on road and took very good care. Our tour guide was wonderful--Salamatdin--provided interesting information--and shared information about prior and current life in Karakalpakstan. These discussion made the tour even more interesting. The yurt camp is basic---but serves excellent food. The Aral sea and desert are stunning--in spite of the sad history. We spent 3 weeks in Uzbekistan--and I do say that this is one of the highlights of our trip.

  Great tour with a lot packed into it Driver picked us up from our hotel in Bukhara and took us to a ceramics workshop and an old caravan heritage site which was very interesting. We then did a long drive to Lake Aydarkul and had lunch, then it was a short drive to the Yurt camp where we got to ride the camels. The Camp was very lovely - the yurts were clean and comfortable (and had power sockets so you can charge your devices overnight) and there are showers in a separate area (male and female areas also separate) - they provide the towels but not soap so make sure you bring your own. There was an attendant that cleaned the showers after each person. We had an early start the second day and visited some ruins before a long drive to Samarkand. Lots of driving involved but it was good to see the sights of the remote parts of Uzbekistan without worrying about transport. The 3 meals were good quality and tasted authentic: 1. deep fried fish and chips, salad, dumpling soup, fruit at the lake 2. selection of salads and pickles, dumpling soup, bread and lamb stew at the yurt camp 3. salads, cheese, bread and some hot foods such as lentils, rice and a sauce for breakfast at the yurt camp After dinner they light the camp fire and there is a man that plays a traditional instrument and sings and the overall vibe and atmosphere is really nice. Although our Driver did not speak English, he was really friendly and we were able to communicate through google translate so we still had a good conversation over lunch, and he kept us posted on where we were going and what we were doing. With a good internet connection and chatgpt we didn't feel we needed a full English speaking guide with us the whole time and we could look at the sights at our own pace. There are a few groups doing the same tour with us so although it was a private in the cars, it was lovely to see the same people at the locations as we would often catch up or hang out together. In total it came to USD300 for me and my partner combined (pay in USD cash to the driver at the camp) excluding tips and alcoholic beverages. Overall it was an amazing experience and I would recommend to anyone going to Uzbekistan!

  Excellent and Highly Professional Transport Service in Samarkand We had an excellent experience with this transport service in Samarkand. I contacted the team on the very same morning, while we were still on the train, looking for a seven-seater van with a driver for the entire day. Their responsiveness was truly impressive. We received a very good price of around $140 for approximately eight hours. We were five adults and two children, and the vehicle was perfectly suited to our needs. Our driver was extremely professional. We simply gave him our itinerary for the day, and everything was followed perfectly. The whole experience was smooth, comfortable and stress-free. I would especially like to highlight the manager, who was extremely responsive, attentive and helpful from the first contact until the end of the service. This level of customer care really made a difference. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Excellent value for money, professional driver and outstanding customer service. He accompanied us throughout the entire visit, explaining not only the history but also interesting little stories about life in the past and local customs today.   Beautiful unique and unusual Tajik day trip!

  We did the day trip from Samarkand to Panjakent and seven lakes. It was a wonderful experience on both sides of the border. Bliss travel helped us with accelerating visas and the tajik side were so welcoming! You get a driver to the border on the Uzbek side, then you cross it yourself and get another guide for the Tajik side waiting on the other end. The guide spoke great English and got us some great local food. He allowed us as much time as we needed in the lakes and stopped on the road for pictures etc. we even saw the panjakent market and learned a lot about tajik culture!! 100% would recommend.

  6/23,24に1泊2日のアイダルクル湖ユルトキャンププライベートツアーを利用させていただきました。2歳の子供1人と大人2人で参加し、大型キャリーケース2個、ベビーカー1個、その他手荷物2つでしたが事前に荷物の写真を送らさせていただいたところ、十分くつろげる車で送迎していただけました。 ツアーの内容は 1日目:8時にブハラのホテルまで迎えに来てもらい、そこから陶芸工房見学、ヌラタ地区のモスク見学、アイダルクル湖で捕れた魚の昼食、アイダルクル湖で約2時間程度湖水浴、ユルトキャンプへ移動しラクダ乗り体験、夕食、焚き火を見ながら民族音楽演奏 2日目:朝食を食べ、サマルカンドのホテルまで送ってもらい終了 ユルトキャンプやアイダルクル湖では日常生活では味わえない貴重な経験をさせていただき、とても満足できました。 2日目は朝食と移動だけで終了だったので、こちらのホームページに記載されている内容とは違うのかなと思いますが、その分早くサマルカンドに到着したためサマルカンドでゆっくりできたので結果的には良かったのかなと思います。 ツアーガイドの方は英語が完璧ではありませんが、翻訳機を使って色々と話してくれたり、気にかけてくれるので、とても楽しく終始安心できました。 気温は半袖半ズボンでも少し暑く感じますが、夜になると涼しくなり蒸し暑くて寝られないということはありませんでした。 料理はとても量が多く、美味しいウズベキスタン料理を味わうことができます。 ユルトキャンプ内にある建物はWi-Fiを使うことができました。 日本でWhatsAppを使って予約しましたが、対応はとても丁寧で返信も早く、ツアーに関すること以外にもおすすめのお土産や飲食店を教えてくださり、大変助かりました。料金も他のツアー会社に比べると安かったです。 私は9日間ウズベキスタンに滞在しましたが、その中でもトップクラスに思い出に残るものになりました。 アイダルクル湖ユルトキャンプツアーを検討している方は是非こちらのツアーを予約することをおすすめします。

They suggested a direct to airport transfer on our return journey and not rushing Samarkand in a day trip.   “Two extraordinary days” in the desert

  If you are considering desert tours in Uzbekistan, this plan is highly recommended. First of all, I was relieved to learn that Yusufjon, a driver I spend a lot of time with, is a very cheerful and friendly person and communicates smoothly in English. The fact that I was able to spend time comfortably, including travel time, was a big point. And while some desert tours charge extra for camel riding, this plan includes all of these activities, with very little extra cost to worry about (unless you order alcohol at lunch or dinner). On this trip, we left Bukhara at 9 o'clock, stopping on the way at Sardova, a historical building, and Gijduvan Museum of Ceramics, which deals with traditional Suzani. We then visited the tomb of Alexander the Great and had lunch at Lake Aidarkur. After arriving at the campsite, the group enjoyed a camel experience, followed by dinner and listening to traditional music over a bonfire. This time was particularly impressive and I feel it was a unique experience. On the second day, after breakfast, I was dropped off at my hotel in Samarkand, which took about four hours, arriving at about 13.30. Overall, I was very satisfied not only with the sightseeing but also with the "experience", and I was able to spend a precious time that I could not easily experience in Japan.

  Spent two days exploring Bukhara with the help of an English-speaking guide, Bek, who knew the history of the country in great depth and brought a clear understanding to the role each of the sites visited played in history and in daily life. He really brought the places visited to life and was very thoughtful and helpful. Road transfers between Bukhara and Samarkand were also part of the personalized package that was kindly organized by Yusufjon to fit my timing, needs and interests. Nous sommes partis de Samarcande sur les routes désertiques avec un arrêt à Nourata, connue pour les ruines antiques de la forteresse d’Alexandre le Grand.   We had a great time in our 3 days in the Nuratau Mountains. The homestays were friendly and comfortable with delicious and copious food, the hikes were fun, and our driver, Ahmadjon, kept asking if we were happy and if he could do anything for us. A couple of things to know: The "homestays" are really family-run but the accommodations are built for visitors; at the first place we were among about 30 guests. The cooking class was started for a tour group so we just went over and joined. The itinerary says the hike on the second day includes a picnic lunch of provided food at a scenic 1650m pass, but we never went above 970m and never stopped for lunch, there was confusion over whether we would be given food to carry, and much of the hike was along a road. But we ended up being given food to carry AND enjoyed a superb cooked lunch at the second guesthouse, and later that day our driver and guesthouse daughter took us on another fun 2-hour hike above the village. And the next day our driver took us out of the way to beautiful Aydar Lake. There was no request for extra money for this or anything else except a Coke (which is totally fair). I recommend Travel Bliss and this tour, and don't hesitate to clarify the details of each activity with your driver (using Google Translate if necessary) or Yusuf who you can contact in the office.

  Were in April 2026 on this tour. Communicative freight forwarder Mukhtarjon picked us up from Bukhara's hotel this morning and we set off for the yurt camp. On the way visited a ceramics workshop in Gijuvan(very enjoyed), Lake Aydarkul. Of the whole trip, we liked the lake the least, in my opinion, visiting it made no sense, as it is not the season and everything is in a desolate state. You could swim, the water in April was somewhere +17, but pushed the smell of rotten fish away from the water. Theoretically, you could lower the overall grade for that, you need to... The conditions are ascetic at the camp in the yurt, but we, used to camping conditions, are not used to it. Amenities were outside. Very welcoming hosts and delicious food. I really enjoyed the camel ride, but it only lasted 10 minutes... Skating observed local gophers and turtles. In the evening campfire and songs to the Kazakh 2 x string domra. There were many foreigners, several groups Italian, French, Americans, Germans and Japanese :) They slept in the morning and then made their way to Samarkand via Nurata. There visited the fortress of Alexander the Great in the 3rd century BC (or rather what is left of it). Those who love the ruins will come in, the rest of us won't be interested. Little remains of the fortress itself. Arrived in Samarkand already at 1 p.m. In total, you can recommend to those who love nature, animals and are not afraid of ascetic sleeping conditions without toilet and shower in the room. Aidarkul I would discuss with the operator if you're going out of season, it's a waste of time and money

  Scenically beautiful and eye opening

  This was definitely a one of a kind experience. From driving through the mountains, to Aydarkul Lake and then finally ending up at the Yurt Camp. It was definitely an adventure. A big shoutout to Hassan who was our driver, couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. The first stop at the lake was extraordinary. As we walked down towards the shore we saw waves which was unbelievable for a lake. As we got fed lunch there as well. The local kitchen worker introduced himself and since I brushed up on my Russian I said thank you to him in Russian which lead to a nice cheeky vodka drinking session. When we got to the Yurt Camp it felt surreal being there. Definitely an adventure worth taking. I would definitely recommend anyone to go on this

  I had a wonderful two-day trip on the “2Days Yurt Camp and Aydarkul Lake Tour from Bukhara to Samarkand.” Our driver, Muxtor, was excellent—friendly, professional, and made the whole journey smooth and enjoyable. We stopped at some interesting historical sites along the way, and the food was delicious. The highlight was staying in a yurt at night. We gathered around a campfire, danced together, and enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere. The starry sky was absolutely stunning. Overall, it was a memorable experience that I would highly recommend.

Our driver Axmadjon was really friendly, and made some stops along the way so we could take photos of the beautiful scenery and a quick stop at the bazar along the way. Once in the city, we met our local guide for a guided tour of the main sites (less than 2 hours). On the way back, we stopped for lunch at a roadside restaurant with a lovely mountain view, and upon request, made an extra stop at the Paper Mill before returning to the hotel. The team was responsive and easy to communicate with. A well-organized and smooth experience!

  Mar 2026 I chose this driver-only tour because I wanted to see the World Heritage site and explore at my own pace. The driver arrived earlier than the scheduled departure time and was waiting for me. It was also great that he allowed me to take photos at beautiful scenic spots. We spent two and a half hours sightseeing after arriving, and I was very satisfied. It took 20 minutes to go to the end and back, so it would have been even better if the driver had dropped me off at the end. (Perhaps there's a designated parking area.) The return journey was congested, and I was worried about making my train on time, so I was very grateful that, for a small additional fee, the driver picked up my luggage from the hotel and drove me directly to the station. Thank you so much for driving safely but also hurrying to stop right in front of the station 30 minutes before my train departure time!

  See beautiful places and touch world history! Mar 2026 Thank you, it's been a wonderful trip, exceeding expectations. The border was fast, the lunch is delicious and in a beautiful place high in the mountains (included in the price), the lakes themselves are beautiful, all different colors - it is amazing how nature created such beauty. Lake 7 had to walk a little, but it is worth it - the lake is located highest, and in March in ice and snow. The images were so graphic that everyone knew where we were and how we got there. And everywhere we were practically alone - a true union with nature. For the teenage daughter, it was also an educational trip, broadening her horizons. After all, we talked to locals in kishlak, also took a ride around the city of Punjakent, there is interesting architecture (including Soviet heritage) . 15 km from Punjakent saw Sarazm, the heritage of Unesco, the oldest city, it is an amazing feeling to touch the history of the world. All recommend this trip, you can combine relaxation in nature, a pleasant walk, and learn a lot of new things without haste or fuss in an individual format. The staff who organized this tour - well done, tried very hard, and without them it would not have been so interesting and relaxed to have this day!

  We did the day trip from Samarkand to Panjakent and seven lakes. It was a wonderful experience on both sides of the border. Bliss travel helped us with accelerating visas and the tajik side were so welcoming! You get a driver to the border on the Uzbek side, then you cross it yourself and get another guide for the Tajik side waiting on the other end. The guide spoke great English and got us some great local food. He allowed us as much time as we needed in the lakes and stopped on the road for pictures etc. we even saw the panjakent market and learned a lot about tajik culture!! 100% would recommend.

  Great off-beat experience of history through the mountains! Very nice and relaxing tour! We drove through the mountains and got some pretty scenic views in the drive to Shahrisabz. The town was quaint and less crowded as not a lot of people go there but it was amazing to see the fort, mausoleums and statues with a helpful local guide. We also stopped for a delicious Tandoor lunch which was super enjoyable. Would definitely recommend booking this tour if you are looking to do something off-beat and unusual in Uzbekistan!

In Shahrisabz we had a local guide who took us to an interesting site of the ancient city and a modern park. I enjoyed hearing the guide shorten the history of the region and helping to explore sites of the different eras.   A great Daytrip for anyone interested in the history of Amir Timur. If you have a day extra in Samarkand, I recommend this daytrip. In the morning, Yasufjon greeted us at the hotel. The driver spoke limited to no English, but Yasufjon translator role and local expert, took us down the road, especially old the BBQ and Khishan.
