This 2-day private Aral Sea tour from Nukus offers a rare opportunity to explore one of Central Asia’s most remote and thought-provoking regions. Traveling by comfortable 4WD vehicle, you will journey through vast desert landscapes, abandoned ports, and former seabed areas of the Aral Sea.

The tour includes a visit to the iconic Ship Graveyard in Muynak, an off-road drive across the Ustyurt Plateau, and an overnight stay in a traditional yurt camp. This experience combines history, nature, and authentic desert life, making it ideal for adventurous travelers, photographers, and those interested in environmental

Departure from Nukus in the morning by private 4WD vehicle. Drive to Muynak, once a thriving fishing port on the Aral Sea. Visit the famous Ship Graveyard and Muynak Local Museum to learn about the history and environmental changes of the region.

After lunch in Muynak, continue the journey off-road across the vast Ustyurt Plateau, enjoying dramatic desert landscapes and panoramic views. Arrive at the Aral Sea area by late afternoon.

Enjoy sunset views over the former seabed of the Aral Sea, followed by dinner and overnight accommodation in a traditional yurt camp.

Early morning wake-up to experience sunrise near the Aral Sea. Breakfast at the yurt camp.

Drive towards Sudochie Lake, a remote wetland area known as a habitat for migratory birds. Enjoy scenic stops along the way and a picnic lunch in nature.

Continue the return journey to Nukus, arriving in the evening. Tour ends with drop-off at your hotel or the agreed meeting point.
