"The journey to Shahrisabz had some beautiful, offering scenic views of the mountains, which was a definite highlight. It provides a unique and valuable counterpoint to the sights in Samarkand. The sites are also generally less crowded, which makes for a more relaxed viewing experience. We would have liked for the tour to include more time in Shahrisabz."
